Golf Holiday on the Mieminger Plateau – Between Mountains & Greens

We kicked off at the Mieminger Plateau Golf School. Experienced Pro Steve coached us individually – with patience, humour and spot-on tips. From our first swings on the driving range to putting drills and small challenges, we improved step by step.

In summer the club runs multi-day kids’ courses and camps. Children learn the game in a fun and engaging way – finishing with a fun mini tournament where everyone can show their skills. A true family highlight!

By the way: the driving range, putting & chipping greens and practice bunkers are good for perfecting new techniques.

We then headed to the 9-hole Park Course. At around 2,800 metres and Par 58, it’s ideal for beginners, returners and leisure golfers. The holes are shorter yet varied – with views of the Mieming mountains, well-kept greens and small challenges like water or clever bunkering.

Every round feels relaxed, without time pressure. It’s a great place to apply what you learned in golf school and enjoy your first successes. Thanks to the short distances from Apart Elisabeth, the Park Course is also perfect for family rounds in the afternoon.

The highlight of our stay was a round on the 18-hole Championship Course (Par 73, approx. 6,600 m). In the morning we fine-tuned on the driving range and practice areas – the perfect warm-up before the big round.

Together with friends who are experienced golf pros, and with a golf cart, we set off: wide fairways, water features and quiet forest passages – always with the impressive panorama of the Mieminger Plateau.

At halfway we stopped at the Stöttlalm: Tyrolean snacks, cool drinks and arguably the best views on the entire course – then refreshed and ready for the back nine.

An 18-hole round is demanding – technically and physically. Without a cart, you’ll easily clock up several kilometres and thousands of steps. All the nicer to relax on the sun terrace at Greenvieh, take in the mountain scenery and enjoy regional dishes prepared with care. The perfect end to a sporty, relaxing golf day.
